problem 39
question:Why do astronauts experience a feeling of weightlessness in space? is there no gravitiy in space? explain your answer.
answer: Astronauts feel weighless in space because they are constanly falling. there is gravity in space but, because of the way the earth orbits, they are constantly going around the earth. and they are falling while going around. the same goes for any other planet. everything has some gravity but maybe not enough to hold someone, or something, down.

School to Home
Coming home from school takes 20 minuts on the Toll Way... and we travel at a speed of 60 miles per hour.
D E S A
X=60 V=X/T V=60/20 V=30
T=20
V=?
I could not upload a photo but I used Google Maps to support my answer...

Pendulum Lab
Hypothesis- If we shorten the string, then the pendulum will swing back and forth faster each time.
Methodolgy- Each time we shortened the string we swung the pendulum back and forth three times. We used a timer to calculate the time.
Data- LEANGTH (in) TIME (s)
GRAPH

Conclusion- Our final conclusion was that when the string is shortended the time decreases from when pendulum is realseased to when it is caught again. Our hypothesis was correct.
