The deffinition of Acceleration is- the rate of change and velocity with respect to magnitude or direction; the derivative of velocity with respect to time.

School to Home

Pendulum Lab

Hypothesis- If we shorten the string, then the pendulum will swing back and forth faster each time.

Methodolgy- Each time we shortened the string we swung the pendulum back and forth three times. We used a timer to calculate the time.

Conclusion- Our final conclusion was that when the string is shortended the time decreases from when pendulum is realseased to when it is caught again. Our hypothesis was correct.
